The brightly colored feathers worn by this young man at a pow wow in Prescott, Arizona commanded my attention. The challenge as a painter was to play down the obvious portrait and focus on the beauty of the feathered headdress. This painting was featured in both the 2019 American Impressionist Society's 20th Annual National Juried Exhibition and the Salmagundi Club in New York, NY and the 2019 Bosque Art Classic. |
